LAS VEGAS — October 24, 2026 — Exolet LLC announces Resident Spotlight, a new Exolet TV feature that gives residents an optional, professionally produced way to introduce themselves to their community. Exolet’s production team prepares creative resident profiles for inclusion in the normal ambient slideshow. The feature uses Exolet’s resident verification and access controls to restrict viewing to verified residents of the relevant community.

An introduction with personality

A name alone tells neighbors very little about one another. Resident Spotlight gives participating residents a way to share a little of their personality, interests, and experiences through an introduction created for their community.

The example accompanying this announcement presents a demo resident named James through a ski trip, a favorite mountain, and a lighthearted reference to a fondue recipe. It illustrates the kind of creative storytelling the production team can use to turn a short introduction into something memorable.

Produced by Exolet’s team

Exolet’s production team prepares the spotlights for residents who would like to introduce themselves. The service combines professional presentation with an individual story, helping the introduction feel personal while fitting the visual experience of the community channel.

Residents can discuss the information and imagery they would like to contribute with their community and the Exolet team. Participation is optional: the feature is intended for people who want to share an introduction with their neighbors.

Part of the normal ambient slideshow

The finished spotlight appears as part of the community’s normal ambient slideshow. That places resident introductions within an existing viewing experience, alongside the content available to the authorized community audience.

A resident can encounter a neighbor’s interests during everyday viewing and have a natural starting point for a later conversation. The aim is to make introductions part of community life, without requiring each resident to create a separate presentation or manage the production process.

Restricted to verified community residents

Exolet states that Resident Spotlight uses its resident verification and access controls to limit viewing to other verified residents of the same community. Spotlights belong in the restricted resident experience, with eligibility checked through the platform’s verification process.

The intended audience is the resident’s own community. Teams introducing the feature should confirm the channel’s resident restrictions and explain the audience to participants before preparing their spotlight.

The public artwork on this announcement is a demonstration resident story supplied by Exolet. It illustrates the format; publication of that sample does not make participating residents’ restricted spotlights public.

Shared interests can start a conversation

A hobby, an outdoor interest, or a favorite kind of food can give neighbors something to talk about. A creative spotlight can help residents recognize someone they may have seen around the building and discover an interest they have in common.

Resident Spotlight adds a people-centered feature to a platform that already brings together community information, entertainment, and personalized content. It is intended to support introductions and connection as part of the resident experience.

A feature within the wider Exolet TV platform

Exolet TV supports eight platform families: Apple TV, Roku, Android TV/Google TV, Amazon Fire TV, Samsung smart TVs, LG smart TVs, Windows, and macOS. Communities can review official app listings and downloads in the platform directory.

Resident Spotlight availability depends on the community’s setup, production arrangements, and verified access. Community teams can discuss how to introduce the feature and how the restricted ambient slideshow will be presented on their supported screens.
